Nyssa-Kaye Darby

Nyssa-Kaye is a Deputy General Counsel for Ascentium Fiduciary, Funds and Private Client. She is based in our British Virgin Islands office where she provides comprehensive legal support and advice on a wide range of issues including corporate law, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. She works closely with stakeholders across the business, delivering clear, practical and business-focused solutions.

Prior to joining the company , Nyssa-Kaye was the Company Secretary for a publicly listed company and for its subsidiaries, advising the Boards of directors and Senior Management across the group on statutory compliance, corporate governance, adherence to listing rules and disclosure obligations. With a background in financial regulation, Nyssa-Kaye previously served as Legal Officer and Board Secretary at the Jamaica Financial Services Commission where she developed expertise in the securities, private pensions and insurance sectors. 

Nyssa-Kaye is admitted to practise in Jamaica (2015) and the British Virgin Islands (2022).
