As Group CEO, Lennard Yong brings 25+ years of experience across financial services, including insurance, asset management and banking, to shape Ascentium’s strategic direction. Previously, Lennard spearheaded Tricor's global expansion, doubling revenues and earnings while growing the organisation to 2,800 employees across 21 jurisdictions. His career includes senior CFO and CEO roles, giving him broad experience across financial management, business transformation and international growth. A qualified CPA/CA, Lennard has further developed his business leadership through executive programmes at Harvard and IMD. He holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Australian universities.

Sean is a Partner and co-Head of the Global Investment Team at Hillhouse Investment. He joined Hillhouse in 2017, following a 20-year tenure with Warburg Pincus, where he was Managing Director and held leadership roles in both New York and London. Earlier in his career, he was with McKinsey & Company and Goldman Sachs. Sean holds an A.B. in Economics magna cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa honours from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Bonn is a seasoned accounting and financial services professional with 35 years’ experience, specialising in investment banking and asset management across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Asia Pacific. He spent his career with KPMG, holding various leadership roles, including Head of Financial Services in Hong Kong and Head of Asset Management for Asia Pacific. Bonn is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute.

Andrew previously served as Managing Director/Operating Partner at Temasek International, a global investment firm headquartered in Singapore and spent 28 years in key leadership roles within the Singapore Government. He was Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, CEO of the National Environment Agency, Principal Private Secretary to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and Deputy Secretary (International) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has held board positions with agencies such as Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), Competition and Consumer Commission Singapore (CCCS), and currently sits on several corporate boards such as Keppel Data Centre REIT, Kim Heng Ltd and Infinity Midco Pte Ltd (Singapore).

As Group President, Wendy Wang draws on 25+ years of experience across financial and operational leadership to shape Ascentium’s strategic growth. Previously Group CFO and COO at Tricor, Wendy has extensive experience in financial and operational management, M&A and business transformation. She also held leadership and financial roles at Genpact Asia, building deep expertise across finance, operations and organisational leadership. A CPA in China, Wendy holds an EMBA from CEIBS and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, reflecting her commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

As Group Chief Technology Officer, Wangsha brings over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. He previously led a global team of more than 180 professionals across eight countries, overseeing major integration and transformation programmes. His career spans local, regional and global leadership roles, including over 12 years as a CIO. Having worked in Japan, Korea and Singapore, he brings extensive experience in leading teams across diverse markets and cultures.

As Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer, Chloe brings 17 years of experience in strategy consulting, M&A and investment banking. She specialises in creating value for businesses, particularly those backed by private equity, through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Previously, Chloe served as Group Head of M&A at Tricor, where she executed nearly 20 transactions across APAC in four and a half years. Prior to that, she was a Partner at Deloitte. She holds both CPA and CFA credentials.

As Group Chief Governance Officer, Judy oversees legal affairs, regulatory compliance, enterprise risk management and corporate governance. She works closely with executive leadership and the Board to strengthen governance and manage risk across the Group. Previously, Judy served as Group General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Tricor and Deputy General Counsel at Ernst & Young Greater China. She began her legal career at Linklaters and Mayer Brown and holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong.

As Group Chief Financial Officer, Brian oversees financial operations, driving strategic growth and ensuring systems support long-term objectives. With 20 years of international finance experience, he brings expertise in financial management, refining processes and business strategy. Brian’s commercial mindset and focus on performance have streamlined operations and improved efficiency. Before joining Ascentium in 2017, he held senior roles in fast-paced organisations, primarily in telecommunications. He is an ACCA fellow with a BSc in Accounting from University College Cork.

As Group Chief Corporate Officer, Christine oversees Corporate PR & Communications and HR across the Group and supports Wealth Management Business Development. She brings 33 years of experience in operations, communications, investments and strategic leadership across Asia and London, with senior roles in private equity and wealth management. Previously, as Principal at Hillhouse Investment, she led rebranding and strategic communications for the firm and its portfolio companies, including Ascentium. She also served as Partner and COO at Eighteen48 Partners in the UK. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours from Princeton University and is a CFA charterholder.

As Group Chief Commercial Officer, Pia leads global commercial initiatives. She brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, driving strategic growth across emerging and mature markets, including the launch of offices in São Paulo and Miami to support the Latin American market. Her commercial expertise and client-focused approach have led to successive leadership roles throughout her career. Trained as a lawyer in Brazil and fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Pia brings an international perspective and extensive experience in developing and expanding businesses across markets.

As Group Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew leads the global commercial strategy for Corporate Services. Drawing on his extensive international market knowledge and cross-cultural expertise, he supports clients in navigating global growth. With 25+ years of experience in international business services, Andrew has worked with companies, investors and clients across global markets. Previously Partner and Global Head of M&A and Private Equity Services at GoGlobal, he also held senior roles at Tricor Group and KPMG. Andrew brings a strong track record in driving commercial growth and enabling businesses to build effective cross-border operations.

As CFO Asia, Celine Ooi brings over 20 years of experience in assurance, risk management, corporate finance and advisory. Her expertise spans M&A, transaction advisory, business restructuring and capital raising, supporting Ascentium’s financial and operational performance across Asia. Previously, Celine was a Corporate Advisory Partner at RSM Singapore and a member of the Singapore Investment Banking Association’s Corporate Finance Committee. She brings extensive experience in financial leadership, with a focus on sustainable growth across the region.
