Esther Lauren Perez

Esther Lauren Perez is the Legal Compliance Director of Ascentium Philippines, where she oversees legal and regulatory compliance across business and product registration, corporate governance, data privacy, due diligence, and corporate housekeeping.

She has over 10 years of experience across legal, international banking, and corporate advisory work, and previously served as Legal Counsel and Business Consultant. She has also conducted legal research for the United Nations Office for Project Services and the Department of Justice of the Philippines under the GOJUST Initiative. Her experience includes internships with the Supreme Court of the Philippines, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, and the Asian International Arbitration Centre.

She was a business exchange student at the University of Technology Sydney and a scholarship recipient at the International Academy for Arbitration Law in Paris, where she specialized in foreign direct investments and international arbitration. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management major in Communications Technology from Ateneo de Manila University, and a Juris Doctor–MBA dual degree (Second Honors) from Far Eastern University Institute of Law and De La Salle University. She was admitted to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in 2020.
