Mark Wellings and Daniel Dalla named co-Heads as part of internal succession; Former co-CEOs and co-Founders Saeed Mirzakhani and Sameer Kassam to focus on M&A and regional growth strategy.
We are excited to announce a leadership transition designed to support the next phase of growth and expansion for InCorp Advisory, An Ascentium Company (InCorp Advisory) in Australia. Following a number of months of planning, Mark Wellings and Daniel Dalla have been appointed co-Heads of InCorp Advisory.
The appointments reflect InCorp Advisory’s commitment to growing from within, elevating proven leaders who are embedded in the fabric of the firm and aligned with its client-first and people-centric culture.
In addition to the new co-Head leaders, Heath McPherson steps into the role of Chief Operating Officer. Heath, who joined the firm in 2023 as Head of People, will now oversee operational scale and internal capability development as COO.
Mark joined InCorp Advisory as Director of Tax & Advisory before being made Partner in December 2023. Daniel has been a Partner since 2016, being responsible for the Audit & Assurance division during that period. This progression for Mark and Daniel represents a natural evolution for two proven leaders within the business.
Co-Founders Saeed Mirzakhani and Sameer Kassam, who have served as joint CEOs since the firm’s inception, will continue to play an active role in the business as non-executive directors, focusing on growth strategy, M&A and long-term group planning for InCorp Advisory, An Ascentium Company.
Sameer Kassam and Saeed Mirzakhani, co-Founders and outgoing co-CEOs of InCorp Advisory, said:
“This is a defining moment for the business. Being able to appoint all three roles from within the firm is a powerful endorsement of the fantastic team depth at InCorp Advisory and the leadership qualities that have emerged across the business. We look forward to supporting Mark and Daniel through this new chapter for themselves personally and of course for the business. As we hand over day-to-day leadership, we are excited at the prospect of shifting our individual focus towards broader growth opportunities including M&A. InCorp Advisory’s future is as bright as ever, as we continue to build a market leading business advisory firm.”
Mark Wellings, co-Head of InCorp Advisory, said:
“I am honoured and thrilled to step into the role of co-Head of InCorp Advisory alongside Daniel and Heath. This business has always been built on the strength of our relationships—with both our clients and our team. Together, we’re committed to continuing to lead with a genuine focus on going the extra mile. With our expertise and extensive network in Australia and the Asia Pacific, I’m truly excited about the journey ahead and the chance to keep driving meaningful outcomes for our clients and our team.”
Daniel Dalla, co-Head of InCorp Advisory, said:
“It’s a privilege to be trusted with this role. What makes our culture unique is that we have been able to merge the technical expertise of the big firms with the personal commitment of boutiques. I’m looking forward to working closely with Mark, Heath and the broader team to continue to build on that incredible legacy that Saeed and Sameer have established.”
Heath McPherson, Chief Operating Officer of InCorp Advisory, said:
“Having our new leaders come from within is a perfect example of what happens when you back your people, and ultimately what makes InCorp Advisory such a special place to work. It is a testament to the foundations laid by our co-founders Saeed and Sameer. We’re building on who we are with a renewed focus on achieving transformational outcomes for our clients through rising together, bringing empathy with action, being comfortable in the uncomfortable and enabling growth through people and technology.”
We deeply appreciate the continued trust and support of our clients, and we look forward to achieving even greater success together in the years to come. Please join us in congratulating the new leadership and celebrating this exciting new chapter for InCorp Advisory.
