To support the much anticipated launch of Microsoft Silverlight—a plug-in for delivering rich interactive applications for the Web—Ascentium designed a Microsoft Web site to reveal the Silverlight experience to users. Ascentium developed parallel HTML and Silverlight-based Web sites that delighted and informed users and provided them with a clear, discoverable way to download and install Silverlight.

Ascentium then supported and redesigned the Web site post-launch through iterative releases, which culminated in deploying a unique spinning carousel feature to coincide with the worldwide release of Silverlight 1.0.
