James Beebe
Founding Partner / President
As president and founding partner, Jim provides overall business leadership and vision to Ascentium. Jim has more than 30 years of experience in information and technology consulting services.
Prior to joining Ascentium, Jim served as vice president of customer services at ContractorHub.com, a Northwest startup that provided business-to-business services to the commercial construction industry.
Prior to that, Jim was partner and cofounder of Excell Data Corporation, a Northwest consulting services company. Jim built and supported Excell’s Application Development Division and Networking Services Division from 1992-1998.
Before founding Excell Data, Jim spent more than a decade at Digital Equipment Corporation, holding positions as product marketing manager, business manager, and U.S. Operations Manager.
Jim received a B.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Washington and did postgraduate work in software engineering at Seattle University.

Curt Doolittle
Founding Partner / Chief Strategy Officer
As chief strategy officer and founding partner, Curt Doolittle ensures that Ascentium provides the best business solutions and highest satisfaction to clients.
Curt has more than 15 years of experience building organizations that deliver leading-edge and sometimes radical solutions to businesses. Before cofounding Ascentium, Curt was chief technology officer for ContractorHub.com, a Northwest startup that provided business-to-business services to the commercial construction industry.
Previously, Curt served as chief technology officer at Data Dimensions (NASDAQ:DDIM) from 1997 to 1999. He was the founder of Redmond Technology Partners, a regional systems integrator. With Jim Beebe, Curt developed the application consulting organization at Excell Data, a Northwest technical solutions company.
Curt has founded or been an executive in companies earning revenues from $5 million to $100 million in fields such as technology, law, art, consumer products, and construction.
He is a member of the Mises Institute, a think tank for market-driven policy. He researches and writes about the evolutionary nature of knowledge and certainty in business, society, and government.
Curt received an M.S. in computer science from Central Connecticut State University and a B.F.A. from the University of Hartford.

Steven Salta
Founding Partner / Vice President, Consulting Services
As vice president and founding partner, Steven manages the Enterprise Content Management Division and provides leadership to Ascentium’s customer loyalty programs.
With more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, Steven has designed corporate networks and led enterprise-wide software development teams. Prior to cofounding Ascentium, Steven was product manager for ContractorHub.com, a Northwest startup that provided business-to-business services to the commercial construction industry.
At Cambridge Technology Partners, an international consulting firm, he served as client partner and delivered leading-edge technology solutions for companies such as Microsoft, Starbucks, and Weyerhaeuser.
Before entering the consulting field, Steven was a Microsoft program manager on the team that designed and developed the phenomenally successful Microsoft Access database.
Prior to Microsoft, Steven was director of application development at Sequent Computer Systems (now a division of IBM). He also spent 10 years in information technology management at Tektronix Corporation. Steven received a B.Sc. from Portland State University.

Amy Cleary
Partner / Managing Director, Spokane
As partner and managing director, Amy provides overall business leadership for Ascentium’s Spokane office and supports clients in Eastern Washington and Idaho.
Amy has more than 10 years of experience with business and technology consulting organizations. Prior to Ascentium, Amy served as director of sales for Aurora Consulting Group, a privately held Washington company focused on Microsoft enterprise project management and portal and collaboration solutions. Prior to Aurora, Amy held senior sales and marketing, business development, and account management positions with the Cordada Group, an e-business consulting firm in Bellevue, WA, which was later acquired by AppliedTheory Inc.
Additional experience includes her time with CW Costello and Associates, a privately held Chicago-based consulting firm that grew to 400 employees and was acquired by Complete Business Solutions, Inc.
Amy started her career in the consulting field as a business analyst in Chicago in 1996. Prior to her entry into the consulting world, Amy was in private practice and served as an assistant attorney general for the State of Washington. Amy received her B.A. in English from Washington State University and her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law.

Todd Colby
Managing Partner / Vice President, Operations
As vice president of operations and managing partner, Todd Colby focuses on the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
Todd has more than 15 years of experience in information technology, including project management, system design, and operations.
Prior to joining Ascentium, Todd spent 10 years at Microsoft working on consumer software. Todd is a patent holder for his design work in online applications.

Alain Dias
Managing Partner / Executive Vice President
As managing partner and executive vice president, Alain leads Ascentium's sales, marketing, strategic alliances, and corporate expansion initiatives. Alain brings solid depth and expertise in the areas of strategic thinking, business and technology strategy, and strategic product innovation. He is a recognized expert and worldwide lecturer on the subject of business transformation, process innovation, and value chain optimization. He is a contributing author to Technology Strategy: Pure & Simple (1999) and has been published in leading trade publications on the subject of business and technology innovation strategies.
He has assisted leading companies in Europe, Latin America, and North America with achieving high growth and enhanced competitive performance through the careful planning and execution of technology strategies aligned with existing business strategies and processes.
Alain has facilitated technology strategy engagements for executives of leading global companies in sectors such as consumer electronics, transportation, financial services, technology, manufacturing, and oil & gas.
Prior to joining Ascentium, Alain was director of strategic services at Interlink Group. At Interlink, Alain assisted the firm's clients such as Alyeska Pipeline and Bonneville Power Admnistration in understanding emerging market trends, and identifying strategic opportunities to leverage technology to be more competitive and create value for their customers and employees. Previously, Alain was a partner with DPI WorldWide in charge of the firm's global technology practice. At DPI, Alain engaged with Fortune 500 firms such as 3M, Caterpillar, Pulte Homes, and FedEx assisting senior management in aligning technology investment to their business strategy.
Alain is a graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.

Kim Eiring
Managing Partner / Chief Financial Officer
Kim started her career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and took an entrepreneurial path upon her departure. Her career focus has been working with start-ups and high-growth companies.
For the past 10 years, Kim has worked as a vice president of finance and chief financial officer (CFO) for companies such as Wild Tangent, The Cobalt Group, and Two Degrees, LLC. She has raised capital, built teams and infrastructure, worked with executive teams on strategic growth objectives, completed several acquisitions, and supported global expansion.
At The Cobalt Group, Kim helped the company grow revenues from $60 million to over $125 million and achieve sustained profitability over three years. As director of finance for iShip.com, she guided the sale of a $3 million online parcel shipping company to Stamps.com for $330 million.
Earlier, while serving as the director of finance reporting to a CFO, Kim helped take Gargoyles, Inc. through a successful IPO and international expansion. She graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University and obtained her CPA certification in the state of Washington.

Kim Horton
Managing Partner / Enterprise Solutions Division Manager
As the Enterprise Solutions Division Manager, Kim provides oversight for all division projects and personnel. She works with clients, manages the profitability of the division, and maintains a focus on the future activity of her division. Before coming to Ascentium in July of 2004, Kim spent 5 years at Lante Corporation, where she was a senior project manager. Prior to that, she was employed for 10 years as a developer and project manager for Safeco. Kim received a B.A. in computer science from the University of Oregon.

Robert Miles
Managing Partner / Chief Technology Officer
As the chief technology officer, Robert is responsible for setting Ascentium’s overall technical direction and vision and for leading the technical staff across the company.
Robert has delivered world-class technology solutions to clients such as Dell, Microsoft, Chempoint.com, the U.S. Government, and Weyerhaeuser. Prior to joining Ascentium he worked at SBI/Razorfish, Lante Corporation, Safeco Insurance, and the U.S. Navy.
Robert is a Microsoft Certified Developer and System Engineer (MCSD & MCSE) with a passion for Agile methods, maximizing the value of technology through enterprise integration, custom application development, content management, and e-commerce. Robert received his B.Sc. from Oregon State University.

Mark Moskal
Managing Partner / Executive Creative Director
Mark leads Ascentium to create digital customer experiences that build brands and businesses. Since joining Ascentium in October 2005, he has led the company to create for Boeing, Dell, Expedia, Microsoft, Nintendo, Starbucks, and more. Prior to Ascentium, as creative director at San Francisco-based Fluid, Mark created digital customer experiences for Charles Schwab, Design Within Reach, Jansport, Macromedia, The Body Shop, The North Face, Reebok, Yahoo!, and more. Earlier in his career in New York City, he worked with major brands such as Candies, Oxygen, Timex, and WNBA. His work has been recognized by Adobe, Communication Arts, Davey Awards, Flashforward, FWA, HOW Design, Interactive Media Awards, MIX, SXSW, W3 Awards, and Webby Awards. Mark has presented at the SXSW Interactive Festival, ReMIX Boston and Flashforward NYC. Mark received a BS in communications with an emphasis in advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed postgraduate work in design and technology at Parsons in New York City.

Sean Murphy
Partner / Account Executive
Sean joined Ascentium in 2003 and focuses on growing Ascentium's business in the Puget Sound area with several key accounts at PACCAR and Microsoft. Sean has been working in the Internet space for almost 15 years.
Prior to joining Ascentium, Sean founded a global telecommunications startup with a unique business model and a market focus on emerging economies. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, he worked in project management, resource management, and sales for Sitewerks, an award-winning Web design firm. Sean hails from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and has a finance degree from Concordia University.

Alessandro Muti
Managing Partner / Chief Solution Architect
Alessandro Muti spent 10 years with Microsoft in several development positions. The technology he has created includes localization software tools to automate the process of generating international versions of Windows, the development of the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine, and Windows Out of the Box Experience connectivity technology to enable a simple Internet connection process for new PC owners.
As part of the Windows Update team, Alessandro developed the Critical Update and Automatic Update technologies that address bugs and help protect against security threats for several hundred million users a day.
After leaving Microsoft, he founded an enterprise software consulting firm, Serriform, which was acquired in 2005 by Ascentium Corporation.

Neil Nylander
Partner / Engagement Manager
As a partner and engagement manager, Neil oversees technical solution implementation and delivery for numerous Ascentium accounts. Neil specializes in a variety of Agile methodologies and technical delivery practices. With more than 12 years of consulting and management experience, Neil has skills that greatly augment the effectiveness of Ascentium’s management team.Prior to Ascentium, Neil was the director of delivery management at Avenue A|Razorfish, a Seattle-based marketing and technology consulting company. His primary focus was to shape and oversee the delivery practice of the company’s Northwest region.Neil is a graduate of Purdue University with a B.S. in computer science.

Alison Parker
Partner / Engagement Manager
As a partner and engagement manager, Alison oversees technical solution implementation and delivery for numerous Ascentium accounts, including PACCAR and Microsoft OEM Sales Division.
With over 11 years of consulting and management experience, Alison is highly skilled asset to Ascentium’s management team. Prior to Ascentium, Alison was a partner at RainCity Technology Group, a Seattle-based technical consulting company. Her primary focus was on development and delivery of content management solutions using Microsoft Content Management Server. RainCity Technology was acquired by Ascentium in 2002 and thus began Alison’s outstanding service to the company. Prior to that, Alison was a senior project manager at Sitewerks, an Internet development company. While there, her clients included Microsoft, Weyerhaeuser, Micron Electronics, and WRQ.
Alison graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in political science.

Ross Porter
Managing Partner / Vice President, Delivery Services
As a 15-year veteran of the computer industry, Ross has delivered a wide variety of technology solutions for a range of customers, including Microsoft, the University of Washington, Qwest, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
Ross has held the chief technology officer position at systems integrators Sitewerks and RainCity Technology Group. He is a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and an expert in enterprise content management systems.
Ross received a master’s degree in software engineering from Seattle University and a B.Sc. in Psychology from McGill University.

Jamie Wicks
Partner / Engagement Manager
As a partner and engagement manager, Jamie manages large Web properties for Microsoft. This includes providing oversight for online marketing solutions and overseeing the design and upkeep of numerous Microsoft Web sites.
With over 10 years of consulting and management experience, Jamie provides valuable direction and insight to Ascentium’s expanding business endeavors.
Prior to joining Ascentium, Jamie was the president of Blue Siren Design, a Web design and development company. While at Blue Siren Design, she focused on improving Web sites for various small to mid-market companies. Prior to that, Jamie was an executive producer at Merwin Creative, working with Microsoft's Compact and Intel accounts.
Jamie graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in political science and social science.
