BELLEVUE, Wash.—May 7, 2008—Ascentium Corporation, a leading interactive marketing and technology consultancy, made its debut this year at #27 on the Advertising Age Top 50 Digital Agencies list. This list of the top U.S. digital marketing agencies is published yearly, and Ascentium’s ranking is based on 2007 U.S. revenue of more than $50 million from digital marketing work.
Ascentium broke into the list amidst steep competition from the top digital agencies and large holding companies in the U.S. According to Ad Age DataCenter estimates, revenue at U.S. digital specialty agencies was up 26.8 percent, and U.S. advertising agencies reported an average 10.2 percent of revenue from digital in 2007. The data indicates that more companies are singling out their digital revenues and that digital services have become critical to the future success of agencies of all disciplines. Ascentium achieved a 37.3 percent increase in digital marketing revenue from 2006 to 2007.
