Ascentium Acquires Web Analytics Firm ZeroDash1 

Acquisition Meets Growing Customer Demand to Deliver Quantifiable Marketing Results

BELLEVUE, Wash.—March 10, 2008—Ascentium Corporation, a leading interactive marketing and technology consultancy, today announced the acquisition of Seattle-based Web analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) consulting firm ZeroDash1 (www.zerodash1.com). The strengthening of Ascentium’s Web analytics responds to a growing desire among customers to optimize their current advertising spends and measure return on investment for their marketing decisions.

According to the Forrester Wave: Web Analytics, Q3 2007 report, a recent Forrester Research survey of more than 200 marketers indicated that improving customer experience was the top theme driving their adoption of marketing technology. Also high on their list: implementing a marketing measurement system. To help meet these objectives, firms turn to Web analytics software. In fact, a full 71 percent of respondents say that their organizations currently use or plan to use Web analytics.
