For the Windows 7 launch, Microsoft wanted to revitalize the world-renowned Windows brand, emphasizing it as a versatile, responsive, user-friendly operating system.

Ascentium worked closely with the Windows 7 team and Crispin Porter + Bogusky to bring the new Windows campaign to life in the interactive realm. For the Windows.com redesign, we matched real customers' social media posts on the homepage to appropriate branded product content. We also developed and deployed Windows PC Scout, a site that helps customers find the right PC at the right price and then drives traffic to the Windows Shop site via personalized offers.

According to the NPD Group, the leading global provider of consumer and retail market research information for a wide range of industries, Windows 7 software unit sales in the U.S. increased 234% over the first few days of Windows Vista sales.
