What You’ll Do:
- Work in collaboration with account service and creative departments to deliver a best in class direct response campaign
- Targeting, segmenting, and ongoing evaluation and analysis of data, generating reports, and finding opportunities for optimization of campaigns based off of data analysis
- Analyze marketing metrics and develop data models to successfully identify the cause and effect relationships between lead or sales outcomes and marketing actions
- Develop and interpret digital marketing and product sales statistics into actionable recommendations to optimize for improved effectiveness and to increase the rate of return on marketing spend
- Maintain deep understanding of business logic, systems and data
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships

- Proven history of meeting tight deadlines and not afraid of tackling ad hoc requests
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – you can make a clear case for what you’re suggesting, and why, based on the data and research
- Attention to detail is a requirement, not an option
- Strong Excel experience is a must, including familiarity with advanced formulas, SQL, pivot tables, and data sorting
- Knowledge of intermediate level statistical analysis
- Advanced PC skills with other Microsoft products including Word and PowerPoint
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, financial analysis, computer science, or economics
- 2+ years’ experience in direct and email marketing and usage analysis, including strong understanding of measurement systems
- Excellent oral, written and client presentation skills

What You’ll Do:
- Communicate status of projects and implementation.
- Should exhibit a consultative approach to account services and client when called upon. Relationship development is a key attribute to success.
- Manage databases, managing feeding in and pulling lists, slicing and dicing data on request, merge/purge.
- Manage error-free creation of data for projects within specified time, resource and budget restrictions.
- Act as the information liaison between all groups that utilize project data, ensuring all groups have the necessary information needed to do their job correctly.
- Identify technical automation opportunities leveraging existing tools, or suggest new tools that would be beneficial.
- Act as a data subject matter expert as it pertains to data base management.
- Develop reporting needs to help develop strategy and data input and output.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Five + years’ experience as a DBA or Technical Project Manager.
- Understands how to perform basic SQL queries to get at metadata or manipulate data.
- Proven ability to improve processes and leverage technology to create efficiencies.
- Ability to see the “big picture” and be proactive.
- Effectively shares knowledge and skills with co-workers.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, custom functions (like LOOKUPs), VBA, macros and/or addins.
- Preferred: 2+ years’ experience programming and systems analysis in a Relational database environment (like SQL/Oracle).
- Solid problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated with ability and experience to manage many projects simultaneously and maintain highly organized work while working within pressured deadlines.
- Proficiency in direct marketing data processing and/or production.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to foster collaboration among team members, other departments and vendors.

What You’ll Do:
- Scope, build, produce and maintain report systems and applications.
- Responsible for conducting detailed Ad Hoc and recurring analysis from internal and external data sources.
- Work collaboratively on requirements related to reporting needs.
- Provide detailed and accurate campaign analytics that report on project and program Return On Investment and performance. Deliver insights that drive future strategy.
- Partner with Account team to address specific client needs. Develop an understanding of what demonstrates value.
- Understanding of reporting modeling techniques and applications. Develop standard operating procedures, automation and implement reporting tools to gain efficiencies in producing recurring marketing reports.
- Manage the day-to -day production of reporting, analytics and dashboards by a team of analysts.
- Responsible for managing analytics team and responsible for quality assurance of team deliverables.
- Perform marketing program response analysis as required.
What Grabs Our Attention:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or statistics required, MBA in statistics is a plus. Three-to-five years of relevant experience.
- Previous people management experience.
- Experience with web analytics such as Webtrends, Omniture or Google Analytics.
- Strong grasp of data warehousing strategies.
- Ability to identify problems, offer solutions, and implement related action plans.
- High degree of communication and interpersonal skills.
