To become even better, our headquarters in Bellevue, WA, is seeking an experienced, self-directed senior level Web Developer to join our team. We are looking for individuals who can provide ongoing site management and content publishing experience. Our web developers analyze business needs, user requirements, and client requests, to create technical solutions that solve customer needs. You will be responsible for ensuring effective, accurate, and ongoing development and maintenance for extensive intranet and extranet platforms. More specifically, you will develop custom solutions built to client specification for a wide range of users.

Applications can range from office productivity Web platforms, to business process workflows, to communications portals. An experienced developer will offer expertise in the development cycle and information management. He or she will have a superior attention to detail and the strong ability to multi-task. The ability to work with a team of project managers, site managers, and developers to deliver superior quality products in rapid succession, and often in tight timeframes, will be utilized every day.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and develop web based solutions on a variety of publishing platforms.
• Interface with existing clients and future prospects to portray the capabilities of Ascentium web development and detail project solutions which solve ongoing business needs.
• Provide project support to Program Managers in regards to timelines, overhead, scope, architecture and direction.
• Provide ongoing development and maintenance through an established workflow process across multiple development and publishing platforms.
• Upgrade existing client development solutions by completing enhancements and architectural modifications to promote increased client productivity and utilization.
• Work as an integral part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, providing leadership and knowledge.
• Utilize coding compatibility standards accepted industry wide.
• Be part of a team where your contributions are critical to an initiative’s success.
• Exercise strong organizational skills, thorough attention to detail, and extensive HTML/XML code-level expertise.

What Grabs Our Attention:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in high-tech and/or web development environments. Experience in a technology industry is highly desired.
• Developed and implemented new web based solutions with a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to SharePoint Environments, XML, XSL/XSLT, XPath, JavaScript, CSS and HTML/XHTML.
• Expert HTML code-level skills required. CSS, XML/XSLT, client side scripting (JavaScript) experience a must.
• Server side scripting (C#/C++, .Net Framework, Visual Basic, ASP, ASP.net) experience a plus.
• Strong understanding of the Document Object Model and ability to develop extensible and dynamic web based solutions.
• Knowledge of effective communications via the web, including information architecture and technical vocabulary.
• Utilization of the web content publishing cycle and Software Development Life Cycle.
• Self-starter able to ramp up quickly and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills for effective resource management between multiple projects.
• Very detailed oriented and customer service driven.
• Photoshop and design capabilities a plus.
• Microsoft experience highly desirable.
• BA/BS degree a plus.
