Realistically, this means that we work in Web and application technology that helps companies take products and services to market. Our business is using technology and marketing to help the operations, marketing and sales organizations inside companies work together to grow. And we're really good at it.
To become even better, we are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our team in Bellevue. Great Project Management is vital to Ascentium’s success. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering business value, ensuring high client satisfaction, managing profitability and risk, and ensuring a high quality of work life for your team members. Our Project Managers combine their knowledge of the creative and technical world to deliver cutting edge projects to some very cool clients.
What You'll Do:
- Drive program/project from project initiation through delivery.
- Interface with clients, as required, on technical matters and/or project subject matters.
- Create the functional specification, requirements and/or scope that will be used as a tool in making decisions as to how the product, service and/or project will be implemented.
- Provide technical and/or analytical information to product managers, as required.
- Organize cross functional activities ensuring that the project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Manage/oversee projects to ensure all objectives have been met.
- Provide standard project documentation like agendas, contact lists, communication plans and status reports.
- Create and execute project documents like Statements of Work (SOW) and Request for Proposals (RFP) and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Lead project related meetings for kick off, status update, close out, etc.
- Identify and forecast technical resources for project completion.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Oversee teams working on client engagements within practice.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Strategically manage customers.
- Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
- Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimize our exposure and risk on projects.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure accurate invoicing, and monitor receivables for all projects under his/her direction.
- Address elevated billing issues when they arise.
What Grabs Our Attention:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing and coordinating successful creative or technical projects.
- Attention to detail, in order to carefully create and review documents.
- Four-year degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage time well and multi-task.
- Competent to learn and use new technologies quickly.
- Strong leadership, communication and customer relationship skills.
- Self motivated with a high level of initiative when approaching projects.
- Team player.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies.
- Broad awareness of basic Internet, intranet, and WWW technologies.
- Previous experience with a technology or creative consulting company.
