What Grabs Our Attention:

We seek talented consultants that get things done; solution design skills are very important. As a Lead Application/Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing business problems as well as recommending, designing and developing the solution. While you will definitely be designing and coding solutions, this is not a “heads down” environment; all of our developers are also consultants and as such are expected to be more than just technologies. You will have the opportunity, but not necessarily be required, to lead a small team of developers to complete the development of these applications on time, on budget, and with high quality.

Mastery of the core development skills is required- problem solving, software design and most importantly proficient coding skills with the following technologies:

• C# or other modern object-oriented language
• .NET and database applications
• SQL
• Javascript
• Web technologies is a must (HTML, CSS, XML, and Javascript)
• Project-based background; working with external clients, requirements, and budget is a must.

The ideal candidate will have an application of the intricacies and challenges of custom software development, as well as web application development in general. You must be self-motivated, have excellent cross-group communication and collaboration skills, and be a solid programmer. A lead application/senior software developer will work well in a leadership role and in addition to other position requirements, must be able to:

• Meet directly with end customers, project managers and analysis and work with them to deliver an excellent solution within project constraints
• Effectively estimate the level of effort required to develop a feature or application
• Segment tasks and delegate appropriately
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff
